Obituary for Douglas Keith Boysel

Douglas Keith Boysel, 54, of Narvon, PA passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, November 30, 2017. He suffered from Complex Regional Pain Syndrome / Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy Syndrome for the past 14 years.

Born and raised in Urbana, OH he was the son of Wilbur Harold and the late Alice (Mattox) Boysel. He attended West Liberty-Salem High School (Ohio) and graduated from Clark State Community College in Springfield, OH with a degree in Agricultural Mechanics.

Doug was hired on with New Holland North America in June 1983 at the Columbus depot location. The company moved him to Troy, Michigan and then on to New Holland, PA where he stayed for the rest of his career at the company now known as CNH Industrial. He was so proud to have worked for a tractor manufacturer but never thought it would be in the office! He felt fortunate to have had the opportunity to travel for the company to many countries including Italy, Germany, Austria, France, Australia, England, and Brazil.

He was married 5 years on September 26 to Lynda (ReFalo) Boysel. He loved mustangs and Ford Racing, NASCAR, reading car magazines, but being with family was his most precious joy.

Surviving family in addition to his wife include his two daughters: Bethany Nichole, married to Brandon Glenn Parmer of New Holland, PA; Hillary Mae, married to Carl Gordon Vanidour of Warren, MI; a granddaughter, Sarah Paulette; his father Wilbur Harold Boysel of Urbana, OH, and his brother David Harold Boysel of San Francisco, CA.

A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at 10:00 A.M at the Beck Funeral Home, 315 E. Main St., New Holland, PA. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the service.
